Christine Coletta has been in the wine industry since 1990 and was instrumental in the development of the BC wine industry through the establishment of the VQA program, later working on dozens of BC wine brands and country marketing programs. Recognized as one of Canada’s most astute marketers, Christine is responsible for all Okanagan Crush Pad client branding, marketing and communications.
Owner - General Manager
Steve Lornie has spent his entire 38-year career in the construction and development industry, and as such he was the one who expertly oversaw the construction of the winery facility for Okanagan Crush Pad, and is responsible for ongoing site management. Now that construction is completed he can hang up his hammer and act as General Manager, guiding the business and finances of Okanagan Crush Pad.
As chief winemaker at Okanagan Crush Pad, Michael Bartier brings a spirit of collaboration and enthusiasm along with desire to work with others to shape the next chapter of winemaking in BC. Michael’s engaging personality sets the tone at Okanagan Crush Pad where he oversees wine production, bringing his sharp palate and expertise to the cellar.
Okanagan Crush Pad's operations manager Julian Scholefield has worked in the wine industry for more than 15 years, where he has overseen the planning and logistics for myriad wine festivals and events, as well as wine competitions in Canada and abroad. His relationships in the industry, eye to detail and logistical expertise make him an invaluable member of the team.
To provide an international perspective and oversee viticulture and winemaking philosophy, Okanagan Crush Pad has engaged internationally acclaimed consulting winemaker Alberto Antonini. Alberto has a reputation for crafting some of the top wines in the world and is excited at the prospect of making wine in Canada’s Okanagan Valley, a place he calls “magnificent”.

David Scholefield has an earned reputation as one of the most discerning tasters and wine experts in Canada. He was the inspiration for our “cooperative” wine facility business model, which he first envisioned over a decade ago after visits to France and New Zealand. David brings his expertise to the projects, is one of the public faces of Okanagan Crush Pad, and acts as ambassador and spokesperson.
Originally from New Zealand, and with 25 vintages under his belt, crafting award-winning wine in Central Otago, California, Australia, and Oregon, Matt brings unparalleled insight and passion to the OCP cellar. Matt works with chief winemaker Michael Bartier and his team.
Based in Concepción, Chile, the much-in-demand Pedro Parra is one of only a handful of wine ‘terroir consultants’ in the world, and has been working with Okanagan Crush Pad since 2011. His main goal is to help the winery to recognize the specific micro units of terroir in the vineyard, with an eye to planting the right grapes that will produce dynamic wines of quality and natural character.
